[Marcus didn't much like spending a lot of time in Elysium. Its seedy nature and the masquerade it was forced to put on at all times wasn't something he was particularly fond of. Allies are allies, however, and Elysium was a critical one in the war effort. He'd turned here in secret to conduct some quiet logistics business on behalf of Flotsam, though using his own familial connections as a cover. And effective enough it was. Once business was attended to, he was on his way to catch a ship back out to sea for a transfer back to Flotsam for the time being.
He briefly turned his eyes up to the sun to get an idea of what time it was, and then back down in front of him. Coincidentally, it brought his vision in sight of another young man looking faint. He readied himself to approach them and ensure they were okay, until the young man's balance failed him. Marcus reflexively rushed forward to stop him from impacting the cobblestone face first.
