Frankly any of the steps in making cloth would be handy. We do have older books and that sort of thing but most of our cloth comes from raids or what we manage to scavenge and that sort of thing.

And someone with experience in any of it is a big boon, trust me. Personally I can do a little hand sewing but it's very little.
