[Gohan listens to Preme's explanation closely. In some ways, their description reminds him of himself and his friends. The chief difference that he notices is the synergy that Preme describes. While Gohan and his friends work well together, their abilities weren't inherently synergetic.

There was also the word "magic" slipped in there. While he's no stranger to magic, his abilities have no basis in magic themselves.]

That doesn't sound quite like my abilities. Some parts are similar, but others are different. Like how my abilities aren't really magic.

[Gohan starts to get the sense that Preme might not have been on the right side of the conflict with the Precure. However, he's every bit his father's son -- and like Goku, he will gladly welcome the chance to help a former villain turn over a new leaf.]

My abilities use the energy made by life. My body creates energy as part of living, and I learned how to control it to make my attacks stronger. And as my body gets stronger, so too does my energy. I can even do things like this.

[Gohan notices a large rock sitting next to one of the walls making up the edge of the cave system that the Vault is made of. He raises his right arm, palm facing that rock. Suddenly, a blast of what looks almost like concentrated light erupts from his hand and flies toward the rock, striking it and blowing it to dust.]
