[ Kalim is fidgety and on edge as he finishes showing people to their seats. He feels kind of bad about it – he's supposed to be making sure all these people have a the best time possible! – but he can't stop thinking about Jamil. He does allow himself the occasional look back in his direction, just to convince himself that he didn't imagine all this somehow, but he's alarmed when he glances over and Jamil's seat is empty.

Thankfully he spots him again quickly, and when Jamil makes clearly deliberate eye contact and gestures for Kalim to join him out back, all of the panic and tension goes out of him.

He waits for as long as he can bear to before he follows – probably a minute at most, but it feels like for ever – and then nods to one of his fellow employees and hurries out. ]

Jamil!

[ Kalim almost stumbles as he catches up to him, breathless with relief. He keeps his voice down, at least, though, as he grabs onto Jamil's sleeves. ]

Jamil, it's really you! I thought, I thought I'd never see you again, I thought you were dead – I – 

[ He glances over his shoulder anxiously, but when he turns back to Jamil he's smiling. ]

If we go now I can hide you, I know some people, I have a room here –
