Honestly, he didn't feel bad right now, but he did recognize that he was impaired while he actually did have a task. The immeasurable peace of exploring higher planes of mental infinity was replaced by mild annoyance that he hadn't noticed what was happening himself. He flopped backwards onto the ground and stared at the trees overhead, which now that he was aware of what was going on, did look to be moving in suspiciously symmetrical ways he probably wouldn't be able to see while sober.
