Endgame Followup Announcement and Plotting Meme
ENDGAME ANNOUNCEMENT & PLOTTING MEME
The mods have discussed endgame plans and we have a schedule in mind, as well as some endgame changes to how things work OOCly. Please read through the message completely to make sure you're aware of all changes.
We are also treating this post as a plotting meme for player plots.
SCHEDULE
Here are our current plans:
November - Event 15 continues as planned. Log will be posted within the next few days.
December - Information comes in about the Empire's next move
January - Endgame battles begin
February - Final battles
March - Epilogue
We don't plan to kick anyone out the instant April arrives, so you will be able to continue backtagging as desired or sandbox the setting afterwards.
ACTIVITY CHECK CHANGE
Starting this month of November, AC will be a simple check-in.
INVITING OLD PLAYERS
We will allow previous players to rejoin us for the endgame without needing to go through the re-app process. Simply request to join the Viva La communities.
On the off chance some new blood wants to join in for a few months, they are welcome but must fill out an application like normal. (Applications are always open.)
REWARDS
In hopes of making some RP wishes come true before the game ends, we are going to be generous with rewards. Instead of needing to pay in notoriety, please make requests for anything you were hoping to gain on the Rewards Page and we will either approve or further discuss your requests.
Mastering seven new schools of magic overnight is a bit questionable, but finishing early mastering one or upgrading all armor and weaponry is an easy approval.
POWER LEVEL RAISE
The general population power will level-up as the finale starts. The Corsair player characters will enter the final battle at 3x cannon ball strength.
RP WISHES
Please use this post as a place to discuss any player plots or RP wishes you have with other players. The mods will see what we can do if anything to help make it happen.
You are welcome to backdate posts within reason to make events firmly before the final battles.

Let’s say that Deedee was passively gathering intel from her spa and faded into the background, while Senshi sailed out on a quest to find… something… that would grant the Corsairs an edge, and recently returned with it in tow.

Emery will be helping as he can though as a God his hands are divinely tied so I don't know how big a role he'll be able to play.

I might have Matt join the last battle to some degree and get cursed. He sees the end of the Empire as worth it. I have enough notoriety to justify curing it by the end of game. Maybe Emery will do it ICly?

That could work; it also occurs to me that it would be fun to try and have Emery's seer abilities play into things, depending on what the mods have planned? Looking into the past for useful information, looking into the future to prepare for the battle and/or for curing Hades.

Either that, or she needs to fully embrace the Dancer powerset, though I'm not sure how that would play out.
Plans for Atom :D
I'd still like to go forward with Atom's player plot to steal from a wizard's castle. As planned, they'll find the ether stones desired, but I'd like him to also find something that will allow him to grow. I was going to save the aging plot for later, but later is already here. lol
A preview of the wizard plot-
This wizard is famously known to be an oddball and has essentially set up his castle like dungeon full of various traps and wrong turns. It's almost as if he doesn't mind if someone attempts to rob him, as long as they can pass his tests...
Previously the characters involved in the wizard heist were Renne, Rezo and Ilphyl. Please confirm if you're still interested in starting this plot this month and possibly continuing into December.
RP Wishes
The plot covers most of it, but here are a few ideas I'll throw out there. Especially since I'd love some fun threads with CR before the game ends.
-Someone teaches Atom the basics of using a sword
-Any heart to heart where our characters can have deep conversations or reveal a little more about themselves to each other tbh
-Funny antics. For example, Atom can show up covered in bugs.

Plans for Matt/Hades
Matthias wants to re-establish the Hades shrine that made an appearance in the graveyard plot. This will get started in November. (I'll have to see if we'll last-minute introduce the miracle game mechanism.) Then maybe just before battle he can perform a ceremony blessing for the Corsairs.
Other
I will likely have Matt participate in the final battle and end up cursed for breaking the rules of god involvement. He's willing to risk permanent death or pain if it means taking down the Empire.
Otherwise I'm open to ideas.
Maybe someone will get Matt to talk more about his old life and his still living friends he hasn't told he's alive. LMAO
Looks like Matt might be welcoming Rezo to the afterlife too. T_T

Maybe once Larendt's under Corsair thumb, Tau can have some help purifying the cursed forest where his tree-body is.
