DESIRED CR:
At the moment, what I'd really love is to develop CR that goes a bit deeper. This can be a bit tricky with Link, since he's kinda not big on talking much! Personal information is not a thing he tends to reveal much. So yeah, anyone who would attempt to poke at Link until he actually talks would be great.

OFFERED CR:
Well, Link is always good for:

you have a ~~Quest~~ Task, and you need some random guy to do it for you
marvelling at the wonders of video game inventory insanity
sparring buddies / fighting buddies / just any kind of warrior buddying up, really
any thrill seeker type shit, Link will not hesitate to join you in it. Or instigate it himself.

FUTURE PLANS:
I have a ridiculous long list of planned notoriety pickups for Link, that I will never ever get through, because it involves regaining his entire inventory + all of his zonai arm abilities.

He's also gotten a few people to help grow some of his ingredients from Hyrule (thanks Donnie Shu and Neph!), so I think an ongoing thing with Link will be making Elixirs / foods with magical effects. He doesn't have an unlimited supply, but he would share these with other Corsairs.

Also Link has a pet chicken now

CHARACTER BLURB: An egg who got way too into her favorite MMO and took an entire starter quest living in her avatar’s body to hatch, she took to the healing, martial arts, and godbothering of a Cleric of Sylphan like a duck to water. Her greatest strength may be empathy; right now she serves the Corsairs as a brawler, medic, and - most importantly - by gathering intel through her a bathhouse and spa, where Imperial civilians and midlevel officers spend their money, relax, and talk too much.

DESIRED CR: I would love mentors, sparring partners, flirts, and people who she can meaningfully talk to about being trans and isekai’d twice over.

CHARACTER BLURB: Natalia is what happens when you take the best of a generation and suck out all her hope to change by emphasizing that it's all on her. Once, she was a ballistics and mathematics specialist trained in the cold calculus of sniping. in close combat, down a rifle's scope, she's one of the best. But no matter how many hearts you shoot, no matter how many adults you can beat to crap, it's pretty hard for a kid to change things, never mind in the New Tsars' Russia.

So she grew colder, and colder, and her heart froze, and this winter of her heart has lasted nearly a decade.

The tender mercies of the Empire didn't help, nor did the religion of their Deity.

So, when some noble was dumb enough to hunt her for sport? She escaped.

And now she is among the Corsairs.

Would that her heart did not remember what froze it.

To be blunt: Natalia is a sniper, assassin, all around badass, and amateur cryptographer and detective. She's a valuable addition to most infiltration teams... So long as she isn't the one doing all the talking.

DESIRED CR: It's very much going to suck for her but I would be glad for her to have friendships and awkward relationships and sparring partners and painful healing.

OFFERED CR: Need someone to bounce ideas off of? A slightly cold and overly calculating strategist? To learn the possible tradeoffs of your decisions? Or just someone who can plausibly replace an Imp soldier while no one's looking? She's your gal.

FUTURE PLANS: So I'm going to let you all in on a little secret. As she begins feeling the warmth of the Corsairs, and possibly other members of Elysium, her heart is going to start to thaw and crack. Winter can't last forever, you know. I fully plan to have her heal and continue to develop her skills both in espionage and possibly learning etheric magic in addition to her own supernatural horseshit. You know, literary medal-bait.

CHARACTER BLURB: Cid is a former mercenary and soldier who turned outlaw when he was tired of seeing the downtrodden and the different used like tools and discarded by an uncaring populous. He founded a place where Bearers (magic users who were essentially slaves in most societies) could die free, on their own terms, and made it a habit of helping Dominants (people who can channel and summon Eikons, which are beings of godlike elemental might) break free of the same after he did himself, being the Dominant of Ramuh the Thunder Warden. He has a coarse but ample dry sense of humor and tends to keep his own struggles pretty quiet. He has a heart of gold, though, and is deeply caring, as evidenced by his willingness to go against the status quo for what he thinks is right. Be warned: if you are lost or struggling, you will be adopted, probably while he teases you, whether you like it or not.
DESIRED CR: I quite honestly adore all sorts of CR and I tend to RP organically at any rate. That being said, Cid tends to collect proteges and I'd be down with more of that. He also adopts younger people and that would be welcome. In general, he's very supportive of people around him, though he may be a little heavy-handed with it. He really just wants the best for everyone.
OFFERED CR: A father figure, a drinking buddy, a guy to trade barbs with. If there's any sort of negative CR, I'm here for it, too.
FUTURE PLANS: He's not interested in leading, not anymore. He's been doing that most of his life and he'll be content here to let someone else take the reins for once. Just because of who he is, though, he won't be able to ignore the demands if it does come to that and I may have him lean more toward a leadership role. Again, I tend to RP organically so these are flexible.

CHARACTER BLURB: Renne is a young woman with an extremely fucked up childhood who has managed to overcome all of this through the love, acceptance, and pure effort of her now-adoptive family. She's now confident, poised, and a bit of a troll on the side, but also as the former Angel of Slaughter, exceptionally good at killing large amounts of people very brutally if it comes to it. A study in contrasts, you might say. She's also an expert hacker and not afraid to mess with people's machines.
DESIRED CR: I've generally left her found and adoptive family vague, so if folks want to take on that role I'm all for it! Otherwise, I'm all for finding her yet MORE family, as well as good friends her age she can bounce off/troll.
OFFERED CR: Renne can be a number of things depending on the relationship, a supportive confident and behind the scenes fixer to those she considers in her care, a precocious child with way more intellect and pain than she should have at her age to those who are older and wiser, or a mischievous peer to those close to her own age, ability and intellect. As a former Enforcer who bore the title the Angel of Slaughter, she has fought against the Corsairs when she was a small and extremely terrifying child, so it's also possible for negative reactions by older Corsairs who can't let old grudges go or don't trust her.
FUTURE PLANS: I'm generally expecting her to be helping on both infiltration and combat primarily, using her hacking and combat abilities to help the cause while also finding people she can truly open up to. Renne isn't consumed by her past trauma anymore, but it is still something she must live with.
EXTRA INFO:

I've been dead to the RP for a bit but I still kinda want to develop what these two had going on more. The weird sort of "Dammit did I just accidentally become someone's mentor" vibe was fun.

Tell me more about this "Angel of Slaughter"...

Renne was rescued from a horrific cult and inducted into a slightly less horrific secret society where she was, as a very young girl (like literally 6) raised to the rank of Enforcer, a fairly high-ranking individual who carries out orders. Her title was the Angel of Slaughter, she wielded (and continues to wield) a scythe and was very good at killing people. The Society in general is supportive of the Imperials but seeks to make the Emperor their own puppet, so generally she would have been in conflict with the Corsairs for her early life. She started drifting away from the Society around the age of 12, before being adopted by [garbled AU noises] where she's started working with the Corsairs. She's 17 now. But for about 6-7 years she was 100% a creepy anime murder child.

CHARACTER BLURB: Turtlekin lad who was separated from his family when he got caught 'stealing' from the Empire (it was salvaging through their trash, golly!). His Empire experience left him a bit traumatized but he's been working his way around it now that he's with the Corsairs. His specialty is machinery with a side of destruction, and he's been slowly but surely branching out with his own brand of magic. On the side he loves plants and keeps a small garden.

DESIRED CR: He can always do for more friends and family-types. Mentors, sibling or parental figures. Attention and approval/praise go a long way with him. That is not to say I am against negative CR of course!

OFFERED CR: He's an absolute workaholic and a bit of a perfectionist, so if you need anything he might not rest until he gets it right, provided it is within his purview. He's also good at sneaking around and scouting, and knows his way around Imperial devices and airships. Winter is not a fun time for him and who knows if Turtlekin normally go into brumation so he tends to not go out as much during the cold seasons unless he's bundled up, but you can have fun with a slightly eepy teen in the meantime. He might be grumpy because he wants to keep working.

FUTURE PLANS: Maybe some day they'll run into some Imperial tech that is the direct result of whatever input and ideas Donnie had given back when he been stuck with them. I'm terrible at running things though so don't hold your breath for that one. Otherwise... well, he did find a nice Armor to work on so maybe he'll be a menace in the skies at some point...

CHARACTER BLURB: Once upon a time, there was a sect of powerful warriors who fought to protect outlying villages in the Empire from assault by the giant monsters that roamed that region. Known as the Dawnwings, they grew so powerful that the local Imperial forces started to feel like they couldn't be controlled. So when a particularly large monster devastated their stronghold, scattering them and sending the survivors to the nearest city as refugees, the ranking Imperial officer instead ordered them all killed while they were vulnerable.

Ziel was once the star pupil of the Dawnwings. Arguably, he still is, as he is the only Dawnwing still living. He's a dour, cynical, deeply traumatized man who is desperately trying not to care about anything anymore because he'd be afraid of losing it all again. But the heart cannot stay as stone forever, and Ziel has started tentatively forming connections with the Corsairs.
DESIRED CR: Enthusiastic types who can drag him along to events other than combat missions. Kids with big ambitions that he can guide. Other people in their 30s. People who knew of the Dawnwings, back in the day (4 years ago, roughly).
OFFERED CR: If you need a mentor figure as a mage or as a fighter, Ziel could be your guy. If you, for some reason, need a dour grump and wet blanket, Ziel could also be your guy.
FUTURE PLANS: He has a big hammer. Whenever there's a combat mission, he goes and hits things with it. Other than that...I have a lot of IDEAS but no firm plans yet. He might start picking up some kind of hobby other than sitting in his room being depressed. He might start taking disciples again. Who knows.

CHARACTER BLURB: Senshi is a former miner and doesn't like to talk about that, but came out of it as a weird sort of Ranger-y naturalist with a passion for hunting and foraging and real skill at cooking nutritious meals. He brought those skills to the Crimson Corsairs as one of the preeminent victuallers of the Flotsam fleet, where he serves to this day, coordinating meals for newcomers and selling his own creations from his refrigerated cargo hauler the Milk Run.
DESIRED CR: Fellow cooking, hunting, foraging and dungeoneering enthusiasts. People willing to pry into his Tragic Backstory and get him to passionately fight against the Empire. Folks he can dote on/feed like a weird uncle.
OFFERED CR: Need a weird dwarven uncle to feed you? How about a surprisingly passionate revolutionary to mentor you? Senshi's got your back. Want to discuss wildlife and ecology? He's for it too.
FUTURE PLANS: I plan to do extensive worldbuilding through cuisine and indulge in the food porn and weird monster ingredients he was meant to cook. Long term, I want him doing humanitarian disaster relief on a large scale, and making sure no one is made to starve with the stroke of a pen ever again.

sup fellow terrifying child soldier buddy (though they coped in VERY different ways), I am interested in this CR and they probably have plenty of war stories to trade

I think them having a slightly too forthright relationship like in the Test Drive suits them both, though Renne definitely has the lead on pranks/trolling.

Very much so, in fact! She spent the latter part of her time in the Society living with an old man who makes murder dolls and he was basically her grandfather (she would use some of these lifelike dolls to go incognito in towns pretending they were her parents so you know, fuuuuucked up) so she has a certain fondness for grumpy old men who secretly care.

Our CRs definitely dovetail. How we wanna do?

She's actually pretty emotionally intelligent at this stage in her life, having managed to overcome a great deal. She's liable to treat someone who is still emotionally distant carefully. She's gotten better but she's not really yet at the point where she considers herself someone capable of giving the kind of love and care that ended up saving her and as such would be cautious with others so as to not overstep or open old wounds.

The easiest meetcute is for her to stumble into the Registered Safehouse And Hospital (that is her spa) after getting bloodied in battle or otherwise uningnorably physically injured so Deedee can examine her magically and then swear.

Of course, having them talk before then would raise the stakes and on those grounds I'm for it; she's discussing a propaganda mission and/or blowing up a factory this month, and such a mission could use a good sniper.

I don't think Link can really offer "meaningful talk" on the subject, but...I do consider him to be somewhere on the genderfluid spectrum or at least certainly not cis. So maybe there's some potentially interesting interactions there?

Indeed it could!

I thought that might be where the manicure scene was going, but god, would she be delighted to help Link with accoutrements to their Gerudo attire. It's definitely a good direction to take their friendship!

Yeah, I was kinda poking at it a bit in that thread! But Link also doesn't really think about being genderfluid necessarily, so it's not something that would get directly stated in narration. He kinda just...does it, mostly through a wide variety of gender presentation in his clothes. (Case in point: see all his outfits across BotW and TotK...)
