Welcome to the first Player Plot Job Board! Here, players may post up player plots they are interested in and recruit others to take part in them. This will be posted up every month.

To post up a plot, please use the following form.

Player Name: Chrysanthemum
Character Name: Renne Bright
Plot Description: Renne needs some Ether Stones to create a band to make her spellcasting easier so she and Donnie are going to raid an Imperial weapon's facility. It just so happens that the one she picks will be home to some remnants of the DG Cult, a horrible group that kidnapped and "raised" her when she was little. Renne is not going to be OK and will ultimately want to destroy the facility and salt the earth.
Roles Desired: Combatants/Infiltrators, this will likely be pretty combat-heavy
Current Participants: Renne Bright and Donnie
Desired Participants: 3-4 would be great!
Approved Rewards: 2 Materiel per participant, if folks want something else we can amend the ask since it'll be a weapon's facility and they probably have good stuff.
Additional Notes: The DG Cult does some pretty horrific things, I'll probably gloss over them but if you want the full details you can check Renne's backstory link in the wiki, I've mostly ported them over unchanged. Renne will also likely get a bit enraged which tends to end in her cutting up her enemies so that might get a bit gory.
IC Posting: Renne would put up a simple text listing on the Ethernet looking for people who might be interested and instructing them to reach out

Kaitlyn is interested in getting some Ether Stones to enchant her armor (which was previously magical but lost the enchant when she came here) - I was actually going to set up something for that separately, but could they be rolled together?

Plus more of her allies becoming terrifying, always nice!

I want to get Yuki more involved and also more CR, and she likely just officially signed up and got her own comm device, so she'll accept the call.

She has no use for materials though. She can give them to somebody else.

OOC I've been looking for a reason for Kanna to get solidly dedicated to the Corsairs, and this sounds like a good way to do it and get some materiel to restore her fancy Armor. Add in she can probably center Renne a bit and it might be just what is needed.

(that and she does not want to stay in the Vault one more second than she absolutely has to.)

Aira can provide general/flexible combat support with her powers. Typically she'd try to take charge and be obnoxious about it, but there's enough going on here that can convince her to defer to Renne ("just this once!!" or so she'd say, blah blah.)

Totally cool with the Materiel as a reward. The real reward will be helping her new friend merc people, ofc.

Uhhh if you want to do a thing where Renne goes too far while berserking, Aira could attempt to retrain her with her magic hair? Like all the carnage wouldn't bother her so much, but maybe if Renne's on the cusp of doing something too thoughtless/reckless that puts her or one of the good guys in danger. Just a thought, since I do enjoy that kind of dramatic stuff! Otherwise she can totally just do regular support and be quite ace at it.

Player Name: Fabricati
Character Name: Natalia Koutolika

Plot Description: Between the intensely successful attacks on Bluvink and Vindess, and the formal declaration of war by the Emperor, the Sea Bark Mad Archer was confirmed failed to report somewhere around the Fallen Islands. No notice of sinking, nor evidence of Imperial salvage, has been found, yet.

Natalia intends to set out to find the ship and her crew shortly after she figures out that they have to be on Aelmsraest, but it's the unquiet residents as much as the Imperials who might put a stop to the rescue.

Roles Desired: At a bare minimum, one Combatant, one Infiltrator (read: investigator), one Supplier (to effect repairs and identify salvage). Ideally, multiple members of each role, and/or people who can wear multiple hats. The focus is on finding and recovering the ship and crew rather clearing out Aelmsraest or completely eliminating Imperial complements, and avoiding combat as long as possible is a plus.

Desired Participants: 3-5

Additional Notes: There's going to be undead and Ether-corrupted monsters on the island, giving the Mad Archer, the party, and the Imperials trouble.

IC Posting: Natalia would have a simple text post, asking through the grapevine for people matching the qualities she'll need.

Rezo's a white mage, meaning he's got magic specifically meant to exorcise and otherwise deal with undead creatures. He's also technically a supplier and can also help with that, though he'd probably be more of an assistant to someone more familiar with the tech.

Kaitlyn will of course actively wish to help - her ice-sneaking shenanigans may do a lot for avoiding battle. Just as long as she doesn't get distracted by other possible sources of loot.

Plugging in Aira as a reserve option! For Combatant or Infiltrator. She's gonna be involved in the Renne plot already, so I want to give priority to anyone else who's interested. (Plus ICly she might not be in the condition to go depending on what happens.)

Cid can fill the roles of combatant and he's been reading up on Airship tech since he's had access to the Corsairs library. He's combat-oriented but can also do lightning-based magic, plus he's got a lot of experience sneaking around places he doesn't belong and avoiding open conflict, but he's good at adapting if he needs to, also.

Atom is fairly flexible role-wise. If they're fighting undead creatures he shouldn't have a problem with battling them the way he's hesitant about soldiers. As stated on plurk, he's new to spell casting but also he has his regular abilities to offer.

I don't know exactly what's needed as far as information on the ship and surroundings is concerned, but he can take scans to collect information if it's about physical details like structure or enemy location.
