ABOUT ME: When I'm not around online, I'm probably at work. My social life consists of browsing bookstores, which is a little sad considering I also work at one. I have way too many fandoms and not nearly enough time to indulge in them. Currently I'm into Final Fantasy XVI, Legend of Zelda, a lot of different books/series, and randomly back into Adventure Time. Mathematical!

FACTION: Flotsam
CHARACTER BLURB: Cid is sardonic, smokes a lot, drinks too much, and he has a really strong definition of "right" and "wrong" but not so much of the "legal" and "illegal". He's rough around the edges, charismatic, but also damned tired. He's worn a lot of hats in his life: mercenary, military commander, engineer, adopted father, outlaw trying to tear down society as he knows it. Oh, and did I mention he has a thunder god in his veins?
DESIRED CR: Any! I'm down with antagonistic, but also friends, drinking buddies, proteges, adopted family
OFFERED CR: Mentor, role model, father figure, drinking buddy, enemy, anything really!
FUTURE PLANS: He's involved with his first player plot! That being said, he's still getting his wings here, and isn't digesting what he came from or what he went through once the Empire brought him here.

You know, it's funny, because FFXVI actually has a reasonable inventory system. Like, they keep potions on their belts, up to 6 of them. I played Breath of the Wild and I know the koroks (they are my favorite NPCs, those little jerks), but it's hilarious to see in RP.

And haha yeah, as video game inventories go, BotW/TotK is heavily skewed on the more ridiculous end of the scale. But I must admit that part of the fun of playing someone like Link for me is that I can play around with the ridiculousness of these mechanics XD
(Though in some ways, it's just as hilarious when Link does not have access to unlimited inventory. Because then he has to grapple with the fact that now he has to carry stuff, with like his actual arms, and his living squatters swiftly become a prime example of a hoarder's den...)

I am planning to send Link to the exploration / scouting mission for the event log, so if you're interested Cid could join Link for a bit in that! He could also potentially join one of the other missions if that's more your jam.
Otherwise, I don't have anything specific in mind. (Though perhaps sparring / some kind of combat could be an option? Let them actually see each other in action)

CHARACTER: Malachiasz Czechowicz
AU/OU: OU
CANON & CANON POINT: Something Dark and Holy Trilogy by Emily A. Duncan; End of Trilogy
FACTION: The Vault
CHARACTER BLURB: A prodigy blood mage/assassin king turned Chaos god (on purpose) who tried to make the enemy's secret weapon fall in love with him so he could manipulate her only to catch feels himself. Morally ambiguous, arrogant, and would sell his best friend for a corn chip. He's also an artist (you'll need to get to social rank 8 for that reveal) and an anxious boy who bites his cuticles until they bleed (that'll be social rank 9)
DESIRED CR: Enemies! Friends? Family! Research assistants! Fellow nerds! Magic people! Okay, I don't really have any specific desires, I love all kinds of CR
OFFERED CR: A guy to make you question why you hang out with him, but also a guy who can probably figure out a way to get you both out of whatever situation you end up in, but will he help you too? Who knows! Again, though, I'm down for anything. You can also have a guy who is willing to do whatever it takes to get a mission done without much call for thought about bystanders.
FUTURE PLANS: Malachiasz has only recently reacquired his soul and the Empire promptly chewed him up and spit him out. He's starting to develop "friend feelings" for someone, meaning nothing romantic at all, but he likes her, and he's not sure what to do with it. I would like to continue making him uncomfortable.

Between my two characters, Atom is probably the one easiest for making friends if you want to introduce him to the "power of friendship" some more, simply because people lower their guards around the kiddo. That said, I'm totally cool with negative CR too for either character.

I can throw him at Atom's open log and see what happens? He's trying to collect information an all sorts of magic for science, so it's a good way to start.
